How this site works
AI Tools for SMBiz is a problem-first resource. Every guide starts with a business problem, describes a workflow, and only then discusses tools. If the honest answer is that you do not need AI, the guide says so.
Researched versus tested
Every guide carries one of two labels. Researched means the workflow is assembled from documented product behaviour and established practice, but it has not been run on your systems or with your data. Tested means we actually ran the workflow end to end and are reporting what happened.
At launch, every guide is labelled researched. We would rather say that plainly than imply hands-on testing that did not happen.
Costs
Costs are given as ranges with a review date. They are checked against published pricing at the time of review and can change at any time. A cost range is not a quote, and it is not a promise of savings. Where a saving is claimed, the guide says how it would be measured.
No fake signals
We do not publish invented ratings, review scores, user counts, or return-on-investment figures. We do not rank tools from best to worst, because the right tool depends on the problem, the budget and the team. Where a comparison is useful, it is framed by business criteria rather than a score.
AI's role in production
AI tools help with drafting and editing. Every published guide is reviewed by a person for accuracy, unsupported claims and tone before it goes live. The presence of AI in the workflow is disclosed here rather than hidden.
Corrections
If a guide is wrong, out of date, or recommends something that failed for you, tell us through the contact form. Corrections are made in the guide and the review date is updated. We do not quietly rewrite a page to hide a mistake.
Independence
v1 carries no affiliate links and no sponsored content. If that changes, the affiliate disclosure will state it before any such link appears.
